Description
The manufacturing process of wind turbine blades includes the following steps:
1、Mold cleaning: Clean the residue and powder layer on the mold after demolding to ensure that the mold surface is clean.
2、Apply release agent: Apply a layer of release agent on the surface of the mold to reduce the adhesion between the blade and the mold.
3、Component production: Various components of wind turbine blades, such as skin, main beam, and flange angle, are produced in specialized molds and then assembled by adhesive bonding.
4、Laying and curing: Lay fiber cloth and resin on the mold, and perform heating and pressure curing.
5、Demolding: Use lifting fixtures or other methods to remove the cured wind turbine blades from the mold.
Among them, the second step (coating release agent) has gradually been replaced by another new method, which is to use PTFE breathable cloth (our productcode:EC007-3R) or PTFE fiberglass adhesive tape (our productcode:SEC013-5P) to adhere to the surface of the mold. Due to the softness of the PTFE cloth, it can be well adhered to the curved surface of the mold. In addition, the anti adhesion, wear resistance, and temperature resistance of the PTFE surface make it reusable multiple times and improve production efficiency.
